A showcase of local slam poets from Witch City Poetry Slam (Monday nights, Village Tavern, Salem). Eight poets exemplifying the spirit and skill of slam poetry. Poets will battle head to head in a bracket style slam, five lucky members of the audience will be awarded the honor of judging these poets based on performance, content, and originality. And excellent chance to see performance poetry in action and be a part of the slam poetry scene!
